The facts that Kit was born somewhere and his mother was a woman, what are you, stupid, are the things most commonly heard when he's asked about his past. And really, aside from his stories about how he got that tattoo (and there are many versions) he probably won't say much at all. He was born Christopher Ocean in in the state of Nevada, the youngest of his parent's three boys-- but he won't be telling you that. And here is the part where he won't say that his dad was a crook or that his mother was a school teacher. He won't even bother mentioning that he dropped out of school to follow in his dad's footsteps and doesn't like to remember how disappointed his mother was. He did acrobatics and various forms of dance and absorbed every word that his father said-- he was going to do something right, for once-- and if you're the right person, sure, he'll tell you about that. He might stop here and rant about how some people are naturally gifted and how some people have to work hard for it and how he belonged to the latter. If you work with Ila Grlscz's group, it's possible that you'll know his father recommended him to her, but regardless of who you happen to be, he won't tell you how his father died that same night. Nor will he tell you that the bullet passed straight through him as if he weren't even there and into his dad's chest. But if you know him well enough you'll probably know that he sends money home to his mother every so often-- possibly out of guilt. And if you really know him well enough, you'll also know that his past is about the only thing he shuts up about. |

Kit quite actually likes to talk about himself, only he tends towards making things up as he goes along. He always has a story to tell, most of the time not true, but as long as people don't ask him about Vietnam or China or Australia or anything, he's cool. But, really, you probably shouldn't point out that Harajuku isn't the capital of Japan because he might hit you. Kit doesn't like being wrong, even when he is. And he is. Often. Still, he's smarter than he lets on, and this side of him shows when he wants it to. Unfortunately out of all the things he wants to be, smart ranks much lower than "alive" and far below "rich", and when he's pointing out the flaws in things people tend to want to kill him, which results in not getting paid. This much he's learned from experience. |

Don't tell Kit he's short, because he knows. He just likes to deny it. The word "petite" is not cool with him either, nor is "small". Due to his height and facial features, he looks much younger than his current age of twenty, has flaming red hair and likes to dress in leather, unless he's on a job. His most defining feature is probably the dragon tattoo that starts below his left eye and reaches to just past his chest. He happens to be extremely fond of it. |
